Terms of Service & Agreement
These terms and conditions contain the conditions under which Four Paws Walking & Pet Services (ABN 13 256 379 960) (FPWPS) will provide its pet services to you. These terms and conditions, therefore, constitute a legally binding agreement between FPWPS and the pet owner (you).
Payment of the services, the making of a booking, or the provision of the services by FPWPS (whichever occurs first) will mean that you have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them.
- A pre-visit (meet n’ greet) is required before every new client booking with us to make sure everyone is happy.
- All services must be paid and cleared in advance and booked in via our online booking system.
- The minimum charge for a walk is 30 minutes. Time starts after pick-ups once we get to the walking location.
- Packages are available to book in advance and to get special rates.
- Independent access to your dog is a must.
- Unless specifically required dogs that are walked with owners who aren’t home are usually done anytime between 7 AM to 6 PM
- If for any reason the walk is not required and needs to be re-scheduled, please use the links provided when booking in to reschedule or cancel.
- FPWPS will apply personal judgment and cut short/cancel any dog walks in the event of heavy rain, high humidity or inclement weather etc. You will not be charged for any walks that are not undertaken for this reason.
- If access cannot be gained to the pet through no fault of FPWPS, the cost of that visit/walk will still be charged (as well as any subsequent visits if required).
- A $15.00 fee will be charged for any additional pick-up of keys or any other pre-visits.
- FPWPS may use its discretion to stop/suspend the services at any time that a pet poses a danger to the safety or health of itself, other pets, or other people. In the event this occurs, you will be notified immediately to allow for alternate arrangements to be made. All subsequent charges, including but not limited to transportation, kennelling, treating, accessing, and liability, will be your responsibility.
- All pets must be up to date with their vaccinations.
- Under no circumstances will FPWPS visit/care for any pet that has any form of active contagious illness, and it is your responsibility to disclose any such illness to FPWPS at the time of booking.
- If it becomes necessary, your pet will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. You are responsible for any fees that are reasonably incurred (assuming FPWPS is not at fault).
- Should any FPWPS walker be bitten or injured by your pet, it will be your responsibility to pay all reasonable costs and damages incurred by FPWPS.
- Any time you cannot pick your pet up from our Pet Sitting Service or Day Care, you will be charged extra depending on the length of time the pet with us via our pricing structure.
- Where meticulous damage is created by pet, the owner is responsible for the payment of damage.
We have public liability insurance.
